Take a peak into Madison County, North Carolina through the eyes of Guggenheim and NEH fellow Rob Amberg. Since moving there in 1973, writing and photographing the evolving culture and environment has been his lifetime project. Amberg has previously published "Sodom Laurel Album" (Center for Documentary Studies at Duke and UNC Press) and "The New Road" (Center for American Places at Columbia College Chicago). Currently developing a third book, the exhibition will feature prints, books and artifacts from his career.
