This group exhibition in the APG Main Gallery was juried by High Museum of Art assistant photography curator Gregory Harris from Atlanta Photography Group members. Two artists in this exhibition will receive the Virginia Twinam Smith Purchase Award of $500 for works that will be added to the permanent collection at MOCA GA. Also on view in the Ted Gloria Maloof Gallery, “Intense”, a solo exhibition by Teri Darnell of the cabaret and burlesque performers of Atlanta’s Cheshire Bridge area – both onstage and backstage. Darnell spent years winning acceptance into this unique subculture.
