Over the past eight years, over 80+ photographers have been selected as the ACP Ones To Watch (OTW), highlighting talented artists who deserve the consideration of serious collectors. Fast Forward//Rewind, curated by Mary Stanley, includes a selection of 19 OTW artists presenting video, installation and still photography created from the 70’s until now.

Thematically, these artists are concerned with diverse issues from gender politics to colonialism, class representation, regional storytelling and intimacy. Their work makes photography feel essential. It is bold visually and conceptually, encouraging a spirited conversation that is wide-open and unresolved. The artists’ approach is consistently imaginative and experimental, engaging the viewer with seductive colors, provocative imagery, and humor. This retrospective pays homage to both the evolution of their practice, and the staying power of classic imagery and technique.
