This is an opportunity for photographers of all ages and with all levels of experience to exhibit their work and to compete for prizes. You are invited to hang your best photo (the best you've ever taken or the best you've taken this week)!
The theme this year is: What does giving back look like in my community?

All photographers of all ages are invited to hang their best photo!
Only one unframed photograph per photographer. 8 1⁄2 x 11 or smaller. Framed or matted photographs are not allowed.
Open for viewing, starting Sunday, October 1st.
An awards ceremony and reception will be Saturday, October 28th from 12-2pm.
Photographs must be removed Saturday, October 28th 2pm - 5pm)
The general public, Elementary, Middle and High Schools and Senior Centers are encouraged to participate. Prizes will be awarded in 10 categories and will be judged by the staff of Creative Loafing.

About The Soul of Philanthropy:
Later this year Atlanta will host The Soul of Philanthropy, an exhibition dedicated to the tradition of African American philanthropy. The Soul of Philanthropy presents the stories of an unsung legacy of Black philanthropists, centuries-old cultural customs and beliefs about ingenious givers carving a way out of no way. The Soul of Philanthropy exhibition (#112) is free and open to the public, and
will run from November 1, 2017 through January 22, 2018, at the Auburn Avenue Research Library with a reception Thursday, November 9th at 6:30pm.
