ACP Public Art: The GEORGIA FENCE

Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail

Featuring work by: Casey Brown, Blake Burton, Fernando Decillis, Andrew Feiler, Nick Gruenberg, Patrick Heagney, Kelly Kline, Paige McFall, Dorothy O'Connor, Michael Reese

Drawing on inspiration from the FENCE and also in collaboration with United Photo Industries, Atlanta Celebrates Photography created a Georgia- based photographers only FENCE that travelled the state in 2016. The GA FENCE was juried from a state-wide call for entries by Maria Kelly, formerly of the High Museum of Art, Carson Sanders and Taylor Curry of Ain’t Bad Magazine, Mary Stanley of Mary Stanley Studio, Alan Rothschild of the Do Good Fund, Elan Buchen of the Atlanta BeltLine and Amy Miller of ACP. The exhibit features 10 notable Georgia photographers presented in a 250-foot long exhibition of outstanding photography that loosely fits the themes of: home, streets, people, creatures, nature and play.

After traveling to Thomasville, Columbus, Savannah and Gainesville in 2016, The GEORGIA FENCE comes back home to be exhibited on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail.

This project is possible through the generous support of the Forward Arts Foundation and Art on the Atlanta BeltLine program.
