This exhibition is meant to highlight queer and trans photographers of color and their experiences—and create a space where they will receive the exposure that they deserve, but rarely receive in the mainstream arts world. It will be curated by Southern Fried Queer Pride, a southern queer and trans arts and advocacy group that organizes queer people of color (QPOC)-centered events around Atlanta and is committed to activism and community building for QPOC.
