Entering its 6th year, ACP’s collaborative program with inpatient teens at Scottish Rite and Egleston hospitals has impacted participants beyond everyone’s expectations. Some very special volunteer photographers, led by ACP co-founder Corinne Adams, have been leading 400 teens a year to explore their identity (including or in spite of their diagnosis) through writing and photographic self-portraiture.
Special thanks to the Child Life Specialists at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Bill Boling, Charlotte Dixon, Digital Arts Studio, Atlanta School of Photography and Brickworks Gallery.
These simultaneous exhibitions highlight the powerful teen portraits and writings (Brickworks) as well as behind the scenes and hilarious outtakes (ASOP).
Both exhibitions will be on view from Oct. 6 - 28th.
